Geography at Malvern Parish 

Geography teaching at Malvern Parish aims to inspire a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with the children for the rest of their lives.  Our aim is for all children to flourish and to equip them with a knowledge about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments, together with an understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. We focus on teaching locational and place knowledge, human and physical geography as well as geographical skills and field work.

An integral part of our geography curriculum draws on our link with Mabawa Primary School, Tanga, Tanzania. Geographical skills are embedded in a range of topics which allow the children to revisit and develop these skills throughout their time at school.
