Art at Malvern Parish

At Malvern Parish our vision is for all children and adults to become aware of their God given gifts so they can flourish as individuals, achieve academically and build firm foundations for the future.

The teaching of art at Malvern Parish CE Primary School aims to equip children with skills that allow them to express their creativity and use their god given gifts. Our pupils will be engaged, inspired and challenged through a high quality art and design programme that allows them to flourish.

Children will be given opportunities to gain both the knowledge and skills to enable them to experiment and create their own works of art, craft and design. As the pupils progress through our school, they will learn to think critically about their own work, and have the chance to review and revisit their ideas. They will also be taught how art and design both reflect and shape our history, and continue to contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation.
